I get this question a lot. If it is safe to give your dog glucosamine that was meant for humans. And I always say yes. I have been giving my dog liquid glucosamine for dogs for about 4 years now after first trying to give her powdered glucosamine (which failed miserably). But the liquid she would take, it was easier on her stomach as its already in a liquid form which would easily absorb into her system.
I have seen other liquid glucosamine products that are able to go directly into their water. But I really didn’t trust the company as they were new and saw it on a late night commercial. But the one I use I did my research and found a lot of testimonials on the subject. And decided to try it, after alerting my vet about it we all agreed it would help.
And it did!
